Materials Growth

​The growth of high-quality, atomically thin 2D materials is essential for realizing high-performance transistors. We have developed a variety of techniques to synthesize monolayer and bilayer WSe2 and MoS2, serving as p-type and n-type semiconducting channels, respectively.
